Khosravi Vafa was elected in a Saturday meeting of OCA.
The election was held as the OCA convened for the first time since Kuwait’s Sheikh Talal al-Fahad Al-Sabah was elected as the president of the council.
During the meeting, the members also discussed the way they could contribute to the OCA performance during the new tenure.
The OCA Executive Board is scheduled to convene for a second time on August 15.
